KATY – Memorial Herman Katy Hospital has broken ground on a $167 million expansion at 2390 Katy Fwy.
The expansion will add a third medical plaza, parking garage with 600 additional parking spaces, and larger emergency center.
Phase I of the emergency center expansion will double the existing facility’s square footage. The renovated facility will encompass 40,000 sf and add additional treatment rooms, including two state-of-the-art trauma rooms, space for more CT scanners, upgraded equipment, and two operating rooms.
Phase II will include renovations to the existing emergency center.
These projects are expected to wrap up in 2024 and 2025.
