COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents has voted to expand the Mays Business School and a lease in Fort Worth.

Mays’ Business Education Complex Project will be on Olsen Blvd. on the university’s main campus. It will include a four-story, 82,000-sf building with a cafe and an outdoor area called the Collaboration Plaza.

The $84.2 million project breaks ground in September with substantial completion slated for October 2024.

The Fort Worth lease expansion will add 10,630 sf for Texas A&MUniversity System offices at Burnett Plaza in downtown.

The project is part of the university’s plan to develop “Aggieland North,” a research campus in downtown Fort Worth.

The university is working on the first two phases of the law school campus.

Construction on the Law and Education Building and Research and Innovation Center buildings will begin in 2023.
