HOUSTON – Houston Methodist Center has started site preparations for a 26-story tower within the Texas Medical Center.
The $1.4 billion tower, named Centennial Tower, will replace Houston Methodist’s main building at 6565 Fannin St.
It will be twice the size of the existing facility and include hundreds of hospital beds, a larger emergency department, and enhanced imaging services.
Completion is set for 2027.
Vaughn Construction will be the general contractor and EYP Inc. is the designer.
