Houston Post building getting new life as office, retail development

​​​HOUSTON – Lovett Commercial has started redeveloping ​Printhouse, a 76,000-sf historic building at 2410 Polk St. 

The project will have 20,000 sf of ground-floor retail space, offices on the third and fourth floors, and a rooftop terrace. 

CVS Pharmacy will anchor the retail portion, occupying 14,000 sf. The second floor will be Lovett Co​.’s headquarters.

Built in 1944, the building was formerly occupied by the Houston Post. The newspaper ceased publication in 1995.
