Exxon Mobil to move HQ from Irving to Spring

​​​SPRING – Exxon Mobil ​is relocating its corporate headquarters from Irving to the 385-acre City Place community.

The 20-building campus has a 100,000-sf gym, on-site daycare for 300 children, town hall and auditorium, office and meeting rooms, and an outdoor plaza that can host up to 3,500 people. 

Currently, about 8,500 Exxon employees work at the campus.

The headquarters move will be complete in mid-2023. 

CDC Houston’s City Place development includes 1,100 apartments and 160 single-family homes. At buildout, the community will have between 2,500 and 3,000 homes. 

DMB Development is building the residential portion of City Place.
