SAN MARCOS – Mission Development Group LLC, in partnership with the San Marcos Housing Authority, is developing The Lantana, a 216-unit affordable multifamily project.
The project will be on ten acres at the intersection of Rattler Rd. and Old Bastrop Hwy. It will have eight buildings with one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor plans.
Most of the units—163—will be reserved for residents earning 30 to 60 percent of the area median income.
Leasing starts in August or September 2022.
CPC Mortgage Company LLC provided a $30 million construction loan.
The project team includes B&A Architects Inc., architect; Concept Builders, general contractor; and KFW Engineers, civil engineer.
