Skyline buys 250-MW solar project in West Texas

​​​PORTLAND, Ore. – ​Skyline Renewables will finance and manage the construction of a 250-magawatt (MW) solar project in Central West Texas.

The Galloway I Solar ​Project was acquired from 8minute Solar Energy. It will begin operation by the end of 2021.

Skyline is backed by private investment house Ardian. Morgan Stanley Renewables Inc. is the sole tax equity investor. Morgan Stanley Capital Group Inc. is an off-taker. 

A consortium of banks led by CIT and joined by Rabobank, Commerzbank, DNB Capital, and Siemens Financial is providing construction financing.
