SAN ANTONIO – Pent-up demand, low mortgage rates, and tight inventory caused home sales and prices in the metro to surge in July.
According to the San Antonio Board of Realtors, 4,231 homes were sold last month, up 25 percent from July 2019.
The median price rose 9 percent to $260,700.
Active listings fell from 10,763 to 7,738.
Inventory also fell from 3.9 months last year to 2.6 months.
