DALLAS – Developer Ray Washburne will repurpose the former Dallas Morning News property on Young St. into a mixed-use project.
The original building will be used for a 130-room luxury boutique hotel, while other parts of the campus will be repurposed for restaurants, entertainment, and residential uses.
The former printing presses that are on the lower levels of the complex will become a performance venue.
A 1,100-room convention hotel at the south end of the old campus is also planned.
Construction is set to begin in early 2021 and take two years.
