LUBBOCK – The South Plains Food Bank Family Nourishment Center at Covenant Children’s Hospital has officially opened.
The center, designed exclusively for the families of its Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, aims to provide families with 24-hour access to nutritious food options to minimize financial stress during their stay.
SPFB will also restock a family’s home kitchen once their baby is ready to be discharged.
Covenant hopes to eventually expand the nourishment center to other patient families throughout the hospital.
