Liberty Hill ISD to open new facility for special education program

­LIBERTY HILL – Liberty Hill ISD will open a facility for its new life skills program for special education students aged 18-22 next school year.

The district is renovating an existing 13,359-sf building behind its administration building for the program using $5 million in 2023 bond funds.

The new program building at 301 Forest St. will include a residential/commercial kitchen, technology learning center, bedroom learning center, living room learning center, residential laundry learning center, and classroom spaces.

The facility will be open for the 2024-25 school year.​
