CYPRESS – The Howard Hughes Corp. is developing Bridgeland Central, a 925-acre mixed-use urban center.
The 23-acre first phase, called Village Green at Bridgeland Central, will be anchored by H-E-B and a three-story mass timber office building.
The H-E-B will span more than 100,000 sf. It will include a pharmacy and fuel station.
McIver Properties represented H-E-B in the deal. Capital Retail Partners represented Howard Hughes and will oversee retail leasing for the rest of the project.
The 49,000-sf office building breaks ground early next year. The project team includes:
- Lake Flato, design architect;
- Kirksey Architecture, architect of record;
- Tellepsen, general contractor; and
- JLL, leasing.
Both projects will open in 2024.
