AMARILLO – Construction will begin next year on Texas’ 36th Buc-ee’s Travel Center.
The $30 million location will be at the southeast corner of E. I-40 and Airport Blvd.
Buc-ee’s purchased the land from Attebury Farm LLC, SpeedCo Inc., and Roserock Holdings LLC in May 2022.
The site consists of undeveloped land and a road that leads to a SpeedCo store.
A dispute between the former landowners delayed the construction of the store, which the city council approved in February.
