SAN ANTONIO – The Historic and Design Review Commission approved plans for The Hemisfair Hotel, a 200-room hotel in downtown.
The 17-floor hotel will include residential units, 87 of which will be allocated for workforce housing. There will also be retail shops, restaurants, a ground-floor garden, and rooftop bar.
Zachry Hospitality will own and operate the hotel. Overland Partners Architects designed the building.
Construction begins this fall and will wrap by 2025.
