DALLAS – Dallas College is building a workforce training center at the former Red Bird mall.
The school is partnering with what is now the Shops at RedBird to create the Workforce Development Training Center.
The facility will be near Mountain View and Cedar Valley, two of the college’s campuses. It will offer career training services for high-demand jobs such as heavy equipment operators, avionics maintenance technicians, logistics, and mechatronics.
The Red Bird mall is currently undergoing a nearly $200 million redevelopment.
