FULSHEAR – Johnson Development has begun the development of Cross Creek West, a 1,258-acre master-planned community.
Located on FM 359 and Jordan Rd., the project will have more than 3,000 homes with 45-, 50-, 55-, and 60-ft homesites.
Site work has started on the 410-homesite first phase, with builder activity starting in the spring.
About 15 acres have been set aside for a Lamar Consolidated Independent School District elementary school. Nearly five acres will be home to a commercial project on FM 359.
A recreation center and pool are slated to open in spring 2023.
