Summit Hotel Properties buying $822M portfolio

​​AUSTIN – Locally based Summit Hotel Properties is purchasing a 27-hotel portfolio totaling 3,709 rooms from NewcrestImage.  Six hotels are in Louisiana and Oklahoma. The remainder are in various Texas markets. The deal will close in fourth quarter 2021 or in early 2022.
