AUSTIN – Seamless Capital LLC is planning a 500-unit multifamily development at 2700 S. Lamar Blvd.
Ten percent of the units will be set aside for those making up to 60 percent of the area median family income.
HomeBase, a subsidiary of Austin Habitat for Humanity, is partnering on the 50 affordable units.
The developer is asking the city council to rezone the three-acre site to MF-6, the highest-density multifamily zoning category. The council gave initial approval on Oct. 14.
