SAN ANTONIO – The city will soon begin construction on a 24,000-sf police station just blocks from Pearl.
The two-story, $18.2 million project will serve the central city area and house several San Antonio Police Department divisions. It will also have a community room and small public park.
The city acquired the two-acre site fronting N. St. Mary’s St. between E. Locust and E. Myrtle Streets in 2019.
Construction begins in spring 2022 and will wrap up by summer 2023.
The project team includes F.A. Nunnelly Co., Beaty Palmer Architects Inc., Lopez Salas Architects Inc., and BVG4 Architecture LLC.
