60 acres in North Austin slated for redevelopment

​​AUSTIN – The 60-acre former site of a copper and fiber connectivity products plant is becoming a 1.2 million-sf office park.

Called Duval, the project will include five buildings. The first two, measuring 235,000 and 250,000 sf, will deliver by third quarter this year. 

The land at 11705 Research​ Blvd. is owned by Minnesota-based 3M, which operated the plant until the end of 2019. The company plans to sell the asset. 

The Duval will be developed by Trammell Crow Co. and Karlin Real Estate LLC. 

Drenner Group PC is representing the project in a rezoning request.
