Centurion American to build new neighborhood at vacant property

PictureDALLAS – Centurion American Development Group is purchasing the former CompuCom Systems headquarters on Forest Ln. with plans to build high-density single-family homes, townhouses, and condominiums.

The 20-acre business campus includes an eight-story tower and data-processing building surrounded by residential areas.

The property has been tied up in a legal challenge, with the U.S. Justice Department alleging the previous owner bought it to launder money embezzled from a Ukrainian bank.

The government said in August 2020 that it was subject to forfeiture.

Centurion American is seeking zoning changes for the property, which is currently restricted to commercial use.
