$13M workforce training facility coming to Brooks

​SAN ANTONIO – Bexar County is planning a 30,000-sf workforce training facility at the 1,308-acre Brooks mixed-use community. 

The facility will include a high-bay robotics and training lab, multipurpose rooms, classrooms, computer labs, support offices, and conference spaces.

The Texas Federation for Advanced M​anufacturing Education will operate the center. It will train potential employees for manufacturers such as Toyota and Navistar.

The total project budget will be $13.15 million.
