SAN ANTONIO – The Port San Antonio board of directors has approved a 130,000-sf innovation center.
The $60 million project will include:

2,500-seat technology area;

new, larger home for the San Antonio Museum of Science and Technology;

classrooms and meeting spaces;
-
research and development lab;
-
full-scale food hall; and
-
24-hour electronic gaming area.
Construction begins this summer and wraps up in early 2022.
Sundt Construction is the general contractor. RVK Architects is the designer.
