Padre Island's first grocery store in decades opening this summer

​​​​PADRE ISLAND – ​The Island Market, an IGA grocery store and the first grocery outlet to operate on the island in decades, will open this summer. 

The $3.3 million project may open as soon as the last​​​ week of July.

The 20,000-sf store is owned by Lori and Moshin Rasheed. It is part of the 36,000-sf Balli Center.
