FRISCO – Sam Moon Group is opening an 18-story, 303-room Hyatt Regency after two years of construction.
The $100 million hotel is connected to the Stonebriar Centre shopping mall.
It has a 27,500-sf conference center, lobby bar, two restaurants, and a 3,000-sf Frisco Public Library.
The hotel was built as a public-private partnership with the city, which is providing $16.5 million in incentives over a 20-year period.
As part of the deal, the city will also acquire the hotel conference center for more than $10 million.
